Risk remediation is broken.
Security teams are overwhelmed, drowning in backlogs, fixing one issue at a time while risks continue to pile up. Meanwhile, attackers are using AI to move faster than ever – exploiting vulnerabilities in days, while organizations often take months to remediate them.
It’s time for a shift in focus. Risk management can’t be treated as a never-ending backlog of one-off tickets – it doesn’t scale, and it doesn’t make a meaningful impact on reducing risk exposure. This isn’t a challenge that humans can solve alone – no matter how advanced your security team is. Agentic AI is what makes this shift possible. For the first time, security teams can break free from traditional cycles of long remediation and streamline the process from end to end.
This week we released ZEST’s Multi-Agent AI System – a network of AI agents designed to tackle complex remediation tasks at a scale and speed not previously possible.
Breaking down ZEST’s Multi-Agent AI System
Just like in a chef’s kitchen, where specific tools are used for specific tasks, the ZEST platform deploys specialized AI agents to tackle complex remediation tasks. These agents work autonomously, independently as well as coordinating with each other to simulate distributed problem-solving and decision-making. Capable of more than prioritization and root cause analysis, they generate tailored resolution paths that actually close issues.
What ZEST AI Agents Actually do
Here’s a short list of ZEST AI Agents and their core functions:
- Data fabric agent: Integrates, normalizes, enriches, and automates data movements to create a singular data fabric that represents the organization’s technical DNA.
- Risk prioritization agent: Prioritizes findings based on risk, exploitability, reachability, business criticality, effort, and impact.
- Impact simulator agent: Simulates the implementation of patches, package updates, IaC and code fixes to determine which resolution paths resolve the most vulnerabilities at once.
- Security as Code (SaC) agent: Analyzes problematic code, and generates replacement code based on the organization’s infrastructure and policies.
- Cloud policy analysis agent: Correlates security tool findings with globally defined cloud security policies, ensuring that risks already mitigated by existing policies are excluded.
- Security guardrails agent: Analyzes cloud security services and guardrails and detects available mitigation measures to reduce the severity of risks.
- Resolution builder agent: Leverages the outcomes of numerous agents to determine the best path for resolution based on available fixes, remediations, and mitigations.
A New Approach to Risk Remediation
This launch marks a shift in how we think about risk remediation.
Instead of asking, “How many risks do we have?” ZEST asks: “How many can we eliminate, fast?”
Rather than reacting to issues one by one, security teams can now proactively plan, execute, and scale their remediation efforts.
ZEST AI Agents go far beyond eliminating manual toil – they work collaboratively to take on complex tasks even the most advanced teams can’t tackle alone. They continuously evaluate infinite resolution paths, simulate their effectiveness, and recommend the most impactful solutions for quick implementation.
ZEST’s Multi-Agent AI system is what enables the platform to work recursively, analyzing every available fix, remediation, and mitigation – not just for individual issues, but for groups of related risks.
At ZEST, we don’t start with the problem.
We start with the solution.
Our Mission to Redefine Remediation with AI
From day one, ZEST’s mission has been to empower security teams to move beyond risk visibility to efficient remediation using AI.
Agentic AI allows us to take that mission to the next level. ZEST’s Multi-Agent AI System was purpose built to extend and enhance security teams at every stage of the remediation process, enabling a shift from reactive vulnerability management to proactive risk resolution.
No more chasing one-off tickets or spending weeks coordinating fixes across teams. Let ZEST AI Agents do the heavy lifting, and help your team implement high-impact solutions that close more risks in less time, with less effort.
See it in Action at RSAC 2025
We’re excited to showcase ZEST’s Multi-Agent AI System at this year’s RSA Conference. The theme, “Many Voices, One Community,” couldn’t be more fitting. Just like a vibrant community of defenders coming together to share ideas and diverse perspectives, ZEST AI Agents, each an expert in their own domain, work collaboratively, sharing insights and context to deliver a more powerful outcome.
Schedule a time to meet with me in person at RSA to discuss the future of remediation and see a live demonstration of our latest capabilities.
